The hahaland farm train set combines pretend play with counting, matching, sorting, and lock-and-key practice. Children connect four train cars, arrange nine numbered barns, match nine animals, and find the color-and-shape key that opens each barn. The turning keys strengthen wrist movement, grasp, visual matching, and problem solving, while the farmer and animal finger puppets support storytelling.

Younger toddlers can work with colors and farm vocabulary, then add numbers and locks as coordination grows. This set uses Montessori language in a broad commercial sense rather than following one traditional Montessori material, but it still provides substantial hands-on play for ages two to three.

A farm-themed lock-and-key toy for toddler fine motor and matching skills.
