The Learning Resources Wooden Geometric Solids set gives children 13 smooth three-dimensional forms, including a sphere, cube, cone, cylinders, pyramids, prisms, a hemisphere, and rectangular solids. Handling the shapes helps homeschool learners connect abstract geometry words with real surfaces, edges, vertices, volume, balance, and cross-sections. Children can sort forms, trace their bases, match them to objects around the house, predict which will roll, or compare 3D forms with 2D drawings.

The included activity guide and storage container support organized lessons. This set suits ages six and up and complements Montessori geometry work without duplicating a formal geometric-solids cabinet.

A hands-on 3D geometry set for homeschool math and Montessori shelf work.
